Terms and conditions

LuciteLux™ is a registered trademark of Lucite International, Inc. By entering the Carry Me! Design Awards you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1/ The promotion commences on 20 May 2010, and all entries must be received before 5pm (Central Daylight Time) on 29 October 2010.  Late, lost, or misdirected entries will not be considered.
2/ The panel of judges will evaluate entries based on the images received using the following criteria:

3/ All entries must be original works and should not be derivative of work(s) of others.  The entry and the design and other information included in the entry do not and shall not in any way infringe any third party’s right, including but not limited to copyright, logos, trademark, trade names, or other proprietary rights of publicity or privacy.
4/ One entry per person only.
5/ All decisions made by the judges or Lucite International, Inc. are final.
6/ The first prize winner and runner-up prize winners will be selected during the week commencing 8 November 2010 and published on the LuciteLux™ website www.lucitelux.com on or about 22 November 2010.
7/ The first prize is $5000 and there are two runner-up prizes of $1000 each.
8/ By submission of an entry, the entrant grants to Lucite International, Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty free, fully paid license to use for any purpose the design and other information (including the entrant’s identity and likeness) included in the entry.
9/ Lucite International, Inc. may manufacture the winning design handbags and/or any other entered design handbag.  If Lucite International, Inc. does so, the handbag(s) will remain the property of Lucite International, Inc., and Lucite International, Inc shall have the right to use these handbags or images thereof in any promotional activity of Lucite International, Inc.
10/ Lucite International, Inc. shall have the right to mention a credit for fabricators who manufacture the prototypes of any entries.
11/ Entrants in the Carry Me! Design Competition must be residents of the USA or Canada only.
